um is it about a blue dragon

Been a while since I watched it, but it's a show about a boy who fights against an evil empire (I think) with some friends. They all have spirits in them (or whatever they're called XD) but Blue DRagon takes a while to obey the boy.

If anyone can add more or correct stuff, feel free to.
